To be a part of the Leadership Team with VSU FCA is a tremendous opportunity.  The VSU FCA Leadership Team is composed of a team of people who love Jesus Christ, who love each other, and who love the VSU campus.  This is a responsibility that each student takes very seriously.  It is a journey through the college years to grow closer to God and to serve the athletes and students of this University.  If you are interested in being a part of the VSU FCA Leadership Team please take the time to look over the following document.  This is a list of opportunities given at VSU FCA.

Leadership Team Application

E-groups is what we call the small group ministry of VSU FCA. The E stands for eclipsed:  Engage, Connect, Love, Impact, Pursue, Serve, Elevate, Disciple.  The idea here is that we are nothing apart from Christ.  Our desire is to be eclipsed by His glory, His love, and His grace.  Therefore, each group has this foundational attitude, to let Christ's grace cover us.  E-Groups is the most important ministry we offer at VSU FCA. Within the walls of each small group, true discipleship takes place. You will be challenged spiritually, grow together in your knowledge of Christ, live out the Gospel on campus together, and form life-long friendships. We hope you will prayerfully consider joining a VSU FCA small group. The locations will be set in the dorms with the hope that each group will impact their local dorm community. Also, various E-groups will meet in "host homes." These homes are a "home-away-from-home" for all college students. E-groups begin the week of August 30th and will meet on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays depending on the schedules of your group.

We adopted E-groups from the Carolina BCM. In fact, we pretty much copied word for word what they wrote. We did this with their permission...so quit trying to find a cheesy lawsuit. Ha! Be Blessed!

There are many exciting ways to serve within the VSU FCA. If you desire to be "more" involved by putting the gifts that God has given you to work then please consider the following options.

First- the Servant Team. The Servant Team consists of one/two players from each VSU sport team and a few students who desire to indulge their lives into serving others. The Servant Team will organize events, promotions, and advertisements. In addition, they will lead Bible Studies, serve at sporting events, and use their creativity for the glory of God.
